  • Nik Suryani Megat Deraman, Executive Chairman & Managing Director at Nang Surya Group

    Nik Suryani Megat Deraman is the Chief Executive Officer of Nang Surya Group, a media agency based at Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad 3, Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Kuala Lumpur, and the Editor-in-Chief of The Malaya Post. She holds a Master of Science in Multimedia Journalism and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Media Management at Universiti Utara Malaysia. With 25 years of professional experience across journalism, broadcasting, and media management including serving as senior broadcast journalist and newscaster at TV3, her academic and professional interests centre on media transformation, strategic newsroom management, and innovation in contemporary journalism practices. She now leads the Malaysia Multimedia Journalism Association, further amplifying her commitment to advancing journalistic standards and innovation in the Malaysian media landscape.
